New Updated version 1.0.1 now available at the App Store.
Update fixes a rare bug that causes application to crash during startup.
Set "To" and "cc"labels to individual email address.

Anonymous said...

Mail2Group is exactly what I was looking for. Well done.

One suggestion. In addition to the "To" and "CC" labels how about a "None" label that when selected would not include the contact in the email. That way I can keep one list and when I don't want to include everyone in the list, I just change "To" to "None".

leo4ever said...

Thanks for the suggestion. Will include it in the next update scheduled for mid november

Anonymous said...

Could you add a "bcc: feature so that everone does not see everyone elses email address?

leo4ever said...

At this time, there appears to be a bug in the Apple SDK, that does not recognize bcc items when launching the mail app. I have filed a bug report with Apple and hope to hear soon from them. The feature is already available in Mail2Group. It has been temporarily disabled till the bug fix.

I just purchased the product, I'm unable to forward email to groups from the iPhones mail box using the group contacts from mail2group. Does mail2group have the capability of establishing group contacts within the iPhones contact list?

leo4ever said...

Dear Jim,
At this time, the Mail2Group application does not provide access to the built-in groups inside the iPhone Addressbook. However, I am planning on a future update that would bring this feature to the product.
This was a feature requested by other users but it's due to technical synchronization issues with the addressbook, it has been delayed.

leo4ever said...

Jim,
Sorry I misunderstood your question. Here are the steps as how you can use Mail2Groups to forward emails from Mail Application.

1. Open Mail App and Select the email you would like to forward or reply to:
2. Choose the "reply" or "Forward" option and it will open the Mail editor screen.
3. Now close the Mail App and open the Mail2Groups applications.
4. Click on the group name that contains the list of the contacts you would like the email to be forwarded or replied.
5. This will open the built-in Mail App populated with all the recipient's email address along with the message to be forwarded in the body section.

Jim said...

Thanks! It worked as you instructed.

leo4ever said...

Glad. It worked for you. Please, feel free to write a review on the iTunes App Store. If you haven't written one already

Thanks!!!

A new update has been sent to Apple for approval. Hopefully, it gets accepted by end of next week.

New Features:
1. Sort Groups By Name.
2. Set "X" label to exclude a contact, so no more deleting of contact from the group to exclude them.
3. Add a optional body text. (E.g., Customized signatures, Conference call numbers etc.,)

Minor UI enhancements

Fixed a rare bug that does not delete all the contacts when a group is deleted.

Anonymous said...

Hi - I really like the program and it has been working very well. One thing that would stop my friends and business contact from getting mad at me is an option for "bcc".

Thanks for a great application

Mike, The Travel Guy

leo4ever said...

Mike,
Thank you for your feedback. The BCC support is temporarily turned off inside the application as there appears to be a bug in the iPhone. As soon as the bug gets fixed, I will quickly send a new update that will enable the BCC support. Hopefully, this bug gets resolved in the next firmware update by Apple.

Thanks,
Javid

I really dig this idea....

i really love the idea of emailing in groups.

my questions is: Is there a way to email a picture to a group? Cause as we know there is no way to attach anything in mail. Is there a way to use the group after selecting the pic to send?

Thanks!!!!

leo4ever said...

Since attachment is not allowed from third party applications, I am posting a tip on how to email a picture from the photo library to groups using Mail2Group.

1. Open Picture Application and Select the picture you would like to email to.
2. Choose the email option from the bottom menu and this opens up a screen with the picture attached and email compose screen. Now, just type the subject or some body text and hit cancel.
3. This will ask if you would like to "Save" or "Don't Save". Choose Save here.
4. Now, open Mail App and you should see the message with attached image in the Drafts section. Select the message.
5. You now have a compose screen with the attached message and empty to, cc, lists.
6. Close, Mail App and open Mail2Group. Select the group you want the picture to be sent to and launch the mail app.
You should have all the to and cc address populated in the message with the attached picture

Procedure to email image to a group doesn't appear to work if the only email account is a Microsoft Exchange type. There isn't a draft folder setup in the account setup. Any ideas for a work around? Thanks.

leo4ever said...

Dear Andrew,
Sorry for the late response. I am currently traveling on vacation and have limited access to internet. I am not sure if there is a workaround, when there is no drafts folder setup. Since the SDK has some limitations, it is not possible to control the mail's account setup. Sorry about that. If I come across any workaround sometime in the future, I would definitely post a note about that.

Thanks,
Javid

nice program but i cant get the BCC feature to work... please email me with directions, thanks.

leo4ever said...

Sorry for my late comment. You should be able to change the label to "To", "CC" or "BCC". Select the group by clicking the blue detail button on the right side of the list and click on the contact's name to change the label. Also, make sure your iPhone firmware is OS2.2. BCC will not work in versions OS2.1 or below. This is a confirmed bug by Apple and it was later fixed in the recently released iPhone firmware 2.2

I think that this fabulous app should also be listed under the "productivity" category as well as a "business app." in the app store. Many of us Moms may not be in the business world but were desperately in need of a solution to annoying process of selecting each individual recipient when sending out a group email to the third grade class parents, Johnny's soccer team, the library board of director's, the women in the book club, on and on...Thank you for fixing something that should have been inherent to the iphone to begin with.

leo4ever said...

Thanks Diane. I completely agree with you on the category but unfortunately I am unable to publish my app on two categories. It's just Apple's setup.

Thanks for your feedback and it would also be very helpful if you could give me a feedback on the iTunes App Store.

Thanks again,
Javid

I do not understand AT ALL how to default a name to the cc or the bcc line. Everyone lands on the To line. (I just got the app today, so it's the most recent version.)

I would like to have a list with two people on the To line, and one on the bcc line. Could you please give more specific directions. Blue button? Which? The arrow or the plus. In Mail2Groups or the iPhone e-mail?

I've pushed every button possible, and all I get is my group on the To line.

Thanks.

leo4ever said...

Hi Carol,
I assume that you have already created a group with few contact items in it. Now, in the main screen click on the blue icon, it will show you a detailed view with the list of all the contacts in it with their name. In this view, just tap the contact, it should change to CC from TO and tap again to change CC to BCC. Now, go back to the main screen and tap the group name and the mail open should open with the TO, CC and BCC items populated. Hope, this instructions were clear else please, let me know and I will be happy to send some screenshots.

Thanks,
Javid

Anonymous said...

Javid,

Whew, got it! That little blue arrow in all the apps is very hard to use. It's too small, so I always end up in the wrong place.

Thanks for the help, and thanks for the app.

Carol

leo4ever said...

Hi Carol,
I felt the blue arrow was quite small to navigate too. hence, I have added a confirmation screen if needed. If you go to the Settings Application (can found in your home screen), you will see mail2Group and you can turn on the "Show Confirmation" to show a confirmation screen before launching mail app. This setting will prevent you from accidentally launching the Mail app.
Hope you like the app and I look forward to your review (if possible) in the iTunes App Store

I followed your instructions to design a 17 person group email template - all listed as bcc recipients. When I saved the template then opened it to write a group email there was only the first name on the list plus four additional names.
I have repeated this four times with the same resulte.
HELP

leo4ever said...

Hi,
Once the Mail App open, do you see anything like "First contact's name & 5 more....." or something like that. If that's the case, you can click on it to see an expanded list of contacts on the BCC field.
Also, can you open Mail2Group and click on the blue button next to the group name and see if you can see all your 17 contacts listed in the detailed view.

Thanks,
Javid

Anonymous said...

Every way I opened the template or a new email made from the template there were only the names stated as being saved.

leo4ever said...

Hi AncientOne,
I am unable to figure out what exactly the issue is. To narrow it down, lets follow the steps to create a small group with 4 recipients and see if it works.
1. Click on the "+" button
2. Enter a group name
3. Enter 4 contact's information by choosing "Add contact from phonebook"
4. Click Save.
5. Click on the blue button next to the group to open detailed view.
6. Tap on the contact name to change the label to BCC.
7. Now, go back to previous screen and select the group and launch Mail App.
Hopefully, all your 4 conacts should be populated in the BCC fields. If this works, go ahead and the rest 13 contacts and try launching the Mail App.
If you like, you can email me directly at javid.alimohideen@gmail.com

Javid...

Just ‘discovered’ your app and I’m getting familiar with it. I have some questions,…

1) Since some of the email addresses I wish to put into the ‘Group’ are not intuitively obvious as to who they go to…. I would like to use the more ‘full email addressing’ (if possible) so that I can keep track of who’s in my list. For example… if the iPhone contacts entry was:
“Clark Kent” ((superman@krypton.org)) {NOTE.. the (( and )) are actually a single Left and Right angle-bracket}
, I would expect that complete address to be added in your app list and then transfered to the email address line to be sent. I doesn’t seem to be functioning that way for me.
2) If you have a lot of recipients in your group… the address string of all of them can be quite long in the outgoing email that you are building. Is there any ‘max character’ limit that I need to be aware of when using this app so far as how many addresses are in the list
3) If the iPhone contact you select to be added has multiple email addresses, your app seems to automatically snag the first, rather than allowing a user choice. Great action if there is only one address… but frustrating if you wanted the ‘other’ one.

leo4ever said...

Hi Rasstag,
Thank you for your comments.
1. Regarding your first question, are you looking to display the contact's name with the email address, in the detailed view?
2. To be honest, the maximum number of contacts that I have tested is 50 per group. I am very sure it should be able to handle more than that.
3. Actually, when there is more than one email address per contact, it should give you a list of email address to chose from. I just tested it on my device and seems to be working fine. Please, let me know if its not working at your end.

Thanks,
Javid

Rasstag said...

Javid,

Thanks for the quick reply…

1) It appears you pick up the ‘name’ to be displayed in the app’s group list from the contact ‘name’ in iPhone. Thinking about it… that should be fine… I was concerned that there was no ‘quick’ way to see the actual email address that was being used ‘under’ the contact name in the group list. I could re-edit that contact and insure the correct email address was being used.
2) My possible use of this app would be in the range of 120-150 contacts… so my concern about ‘max’ character count was biased on avg email length… say 10 character user name and 10 more after the “@”, times 150 would be ~ and email ‘string’ on the iPhone email app of 3000 characters. Just wanted to make sure that was not going to trip something up.
3) Disregard #3 … synaptic disconnect on my part.

leo4ever said...

Hi Rasstag,
I think what you have asked for is a valid feature. I will try to see if I could get the full-addressing feature into the next release somehow without changing the UI design much.
As far as the max. contacts, I am not quite sure if there is a limitation in the iPhone SDK. As long as the built in mail app is able to support, you should be doing okay. However, I am quite interested to see how the app performs when you have more than 150 contacts per group. Would you able to share your user experience with me?

Rasstag said...

I would be happy to Javid... np.

Thanks for the efforts in making was appears to be an outstanding app.

Rasstag said...

Javid…

The inherent risk of developing an app like this (..and supplying a nice forum for discussion) is that you leave the door open for people to think up great “ideas” that should be added (… you, of course, are the one that has to slave over the hot code and make it happen ;)

So… after ‘sleeping on it’… I have an idea that I would like to put forward for you to consider (or reject… either would be acceptable).

I like being able to add a ‘signature area’ at the bottom of the message body… I can see making use of that for ‘contact info’, however… often,… the person responsible for “getting the word out” is sent the information from someone else that needs to be shot-gunned out to the distribution list.

This means you may have received either an iPhone email or SMS text containing the information which needs to be disseminated. Would it be possible, say in the area where you enter your ‘signature’ info… to be able to optionally select a stored email or SMS text and have the data from that source ‘imported’ into the Group email text area? If this is possible… it would eliminate the need to ‘re-enter’ information you have already received into the Group output text area (and also would eliminate the inherent typos that seem to follow me when I use the iPhone keyboard).

That it in a nutshell… I’ll let you decide if you feel the idea has any merit.

Regards,

Rasstag

leo4ever said...

Hi Rasstag,
I believe what you are want to do is be able to forward a email that you received from someone to a group. Please, correct me if I am wrong.
Actually, it is not very straightforward but its doable. Open Mail App, select the email you would like to forward to, choose the forward option from the bottom menu, Now close mail app, open Mail2Group, in the settings make sure the reply/forward mode is set to ON and select the group you would like the email to be forwarded. This will open the mail app will all the recipients email address populated in the right to,cc or bcc fields.

Also, the feature you had requested regarding displaying the full email address along with the name has been done and submitted to Apple for approval. Hopefully, the update should be pushed out in a week.

Rasstag said...

Javid... thanks for the quick reply... "You da Man"!!

I owe you a cold one when next we meet in the tavern ;)

Rasstag said...

AND... if the info comes in via text... I can use one of these links to build an email that can be forwared ;)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_gateway#Carrier-Provided_SMS_to_E-Mail_Gateways

leo4ever said...

Rasstag,
The iPhone SDK does not allow access to built in SMS application. However, if you would want to send the emails as SMS to your group's contacts, you should actually enter the phonenumber@carrierhostname using the Add other email option provided in Mail2Group. Also, different carriers have different SMS gateway servers, which makes it very difficult to automatically figure out the carrier gateway server based on the phone number.

leo4ever said...

Rasstag,
If possible, would you be able to post a review on the iTunes App store about your experience with the app.

Thanks,
javid

Hi Everybody!

I saw the programm on german appstore and I have some questions about it....

Sorry I´m not a english nature-speaker...

;-)

1. I want to send mails to a group of fans from my band. That are 1000 adresses. Is it possible to handle that with Mail2Group?

2. Is it possible to import these adresses??

Best wishes from germany and thanks for the answer!

leo4ever said...

Hi,
To be honest, the maximum number of contacts I have added is around 100. I also know of some users who have used it upto 150. Currently, there is no way to import the addresses to a group. Mail2Group allows you to add email addresses outside of your phone book. Unfortunately it has to be done manually.
Sorry,
Javid

Javid,

I'm a high school teacher who is working on a project for fellow educators about using the iPod touch in the classroom. I have experimented with the Lite version on the app and I'm impressed. It looks like it could be very useful to educators and students alike who need to contact groups of people at once right from their device. The reason I am writing is to see if you wouldn't mind providing a promotional code for the full version of a app so I can document it for other teachers to learn about based on my experiences. Please contact me and I would be glad to let you know more about my project plans and other information you might have about this request. I eagerly look forward to hearing from you soon.

Mike

leo4ever said...

Hi Mike,
As you might have known, the developers don't get a lot of promotional codes to offer. However, I will definitely be able to send 1 promotional code for you to evaluate the product. Kindly, send me an email to javid.alimohideen (at) gmail dot com and will send you the code. Just as an FYI, the code is valid only on the US iTunes store.

Thanks,

Great app but was disappointed that after I installed it, the BCC functionality is turned off. That's mainly why I purchased it. Any word when it will be functional? Also, I rated the app in itunes under LLMCAM. I gave 5* but it was before I knew about the BCC piece.

LLMCAM said...

Nevermind! I got the BCC piece to work and am loving it!! Great job! I've already referred to a couple other people. The only thing is that when I tried to delete my test group, it causes the app to shut down. No biggie.

leo4ever said...

HI LLMCAM,
Glad to know you got BCC to work. Regarding the app shutting down when trying to delete a group is a small bug and it will be fixed in the next update. However, you can turn off the sort by name feature using the settings screen (toolbar like icon), and should be able to delete groups without any issues. It happens only when "Sort by name" is turned on. Please, let me know if you have any other issues. Also, in the future, if you like you can send an email to support, using the "Email Support" available in the Help screen within Mail2Group. Just trying to make it easy when reaching support.

Hi there,

You may know of my company, Enfour, from the dictionary applications we
have on the AppStore. http://www.enfour.com/iphone/

We wanted to give you all a heads-up for a new product we have released and
how it might benefit your users.

"SpellChecker" is an application that has a number of spell-checking
dictionaries -covering, UK, US & Canadian English as well as major
European languages.
Rather than just being spelling dictionary, "SpellChecker" supports
processing of text from third-party applications (like yours).
It receives, checks, lets the user replace or edit and sends the results
back into your application.

We are sure that this functionality would add value for your customers.
Plus, we believe that this kind of inter-application communication will
benefit the platform as a whole.

We are you offering this round-trip spell-checking API so that "SpellChecker"
will act like a plug-in for your application.
It is does NOT require OS 3.0, it AppStore-approval compliant and it is FREE!

If you are interested in adding links to "SpellChecker" to any of your
products, please reply and we can pass along the details as soon as possible.

yours sincerely,

Hi: since I upgraded to os 3.0 I can't use this app to forward e-mails. I open the e-mail, select forward, close e-mail, open mail2group, select my group and then the forwarded e-mail opens but the 'to' field is not populated. The App works fine with a new e-mail. Anyone else having this problem

I just purchased the iPhone 3GS and am looking for an application to allow me to forward emails to a group. I found Mail2Group lite and wanted to test this feature. I have followed the directions for forwarding however, when I select the group and it switches back to the email application the To: field is blank. Is there a compatibility issue with the new phone?

Bobo said...

Yea--same problem I am having--worked fine before. I think it is a compatibility problem with the OS 3.0 software (which is on the iPhone 3GS)

leo4ever said...

Hi John and bobo,
the issue you are having is due to an bug with iPhone os3.0. I have filed a bug report with apple and they have confirmed it as an bug. Hopefully they resolve it in the next update. The reply and forward works on versions prior to os3.0. If it's the fault of the app I would have fixed it by now. But it's at apples end and I have no choice other than to wait and pray they fix it soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you understand.

I just updated to your newest version and am still having the same problem of not transferring email addresses when forwarding. Is this still an Apple issue or was it suppose to be fixed with this latest version?

leo4ever said...

Hi Jon,
The new update that was sent yesterday for Mail2Group was addressing some new features. However, the issue with reply/forward still remains as its an Apple Issue. I am hoping it should be fixed in the next updated OS3.1. I am working on the OS3.1 beta and the issue was still present. So, I have contacted Apple again and have sent some sample code illustrating the issue. Will update my blog and the twitter feed as soon as I hear back from Apple.

As you can tell I am very interested in mail2Group. Even though I have not purchased yet, once this issue is corrected, you can count on it. Your responses to my inquiries have been quick and informative.

I bought this and it doesn't work. I have 3.0. How do I get my money back?

leo4ever said...

Hello,
I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the application. I have confirmed the issue as a bug due to iPhone OS3.0 and the application itself.

You should be able to contact Apple iTunes support and state the reason and ask for a refund.

I do like the program to send photos to a group of recipients. Quick question, however. The format of the photo changes from .jpg (which is how it is sent in the native mail application) to .png. Why would you send out in a different format? Just curious.
Thanks, great app.

leo4ever said...

Hi Jonathan,
I think after doing some performance tests, I found the app to be very stable and offer high-resolution, when its png format. Especially, when you are sending multiple pics, using .png was more responsive than .jpg.

May be in a future release, I can provide an option for users to chose the format and also the resolution.

Thanks,

leo4ever said...

Hi Bill,
The Mail2Group lite allows a group with a maximum of three contacts per group. This lite version allows to test all the functionality offered by Mail2Group. I am not quite sure how you are able to use a group with 8 names. It will not let you add more than 3 contacts per group. Also, you would have to create new groups inside Mail2Group. The application currently does not support the groups that are available in the native Contacts application. A future update is on the works that will let you use the groups created in the Phone application.

Thanks,

Hi Robert,
Sorry for the late response. I am not aware of any fix from Apple so far. I was contacted by Apple to remove any reference of word 'bug' in the description in iTunes app store, as they feel its confusing for the user. I am not sure why and how. I have been trying to get in touch with their support but so far i couldn't. I will post an update as soon as I find any more details from them.
Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

I would be interested to purchase your app, however, only if the email list of contacts does not appear to each email contact.

If i send out 100 emails from a group, will each of the 100 people see the 100 email addresses in their email?

Anonymous said...

It would be helpfull if you had a regular email address to answer any questions rather than this blog.

leo4ever said...

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in purchasing the app. If you prefer not to show the list of email addresses to others, you could configure the contact's as BCC. This option means Blind Carbon Copy. The email address will not be visible to your end receivers. Please, try Mail2Group Lite, to make sure the application meets your needs. The Lite app is Free for download and it allows a max. of 3 contacts per group. Hopefully, you will like what you see and buy Mail2Group (Full-Version).

Thanks,
Javid

Sorry,
I understand its bit difficult to contact through blog. However, listing my email-address on this or any other site will just result in more spam to my inbox. Sorry for the inconvenience. Any support questions sent from my app will be sent to my email directly.

Hi,

I am interested in buying your ap, but just to make sure I understand correctly: With this ap I *will* be able to send a Bcc email on my iPhone to an email group of 100+ people, but I wouldn't be able to then forward that same email (with an edit in text)later to the same group. Is that right?

Is there a limit to the number of contacts one can have in an email group with your product?

And would email groups created by your ap sync back to Outlook?

Thank you,
Alex

leo4ever said...

Hi Alex,
Thank you for your interest in buying the app.

Yes, You can send email as BCC to groups of your contacts. The max. I have tried is around 100 contacts. But, I have heard some feedback that it worked perfectly fine for around 150 contacts. But, sometime your email provider may put some limit on how many people you send the email to. I think Google has something like 50 (To protected against spamming).
Due, to a bug you would not be able to forward an email to the group. Hope, this bug gets resolved by apple sometime soon.

Currently, the groups created in the App are not available outside of the app. So, they won't sync with Outlook. I have been working on a feature that would let you share the groups. Hopefully I should have it done by end of this quarter.

Please, try the free app Mail2Group Lite to get a better feel on the other capabilities offered by the application.

Once again, thanks for your interest.
please feel free to post your comments or questions.

Thanks,
Javid

I have the lite version and would like to upgrade, but not till it has the ability to 'forward' emails from within iphone mail app. Unlike other group mail apps, this has the ability to Bcc to people, however it does not sync with Outlook's address book. Will these features be included at some stage?

leo4ever said...

Hi Coral,
The ability to forward is due to an issue with iPhone OS and unfortunately I won't be able to address it until Apple resolves it. I am planning to add the feature to sync the groups with Outlook, within the next couple of months.
Will update you as soon as I get closer to the release period.

Regarding the strange behavior, only possible explanation I have at this time, is when you were working on Mail2Group, the application may have been interrupted by a phone call or the application quit and didn't preserve some of the changes. However, I have opened a note for this issue and would start investigating right away. If issues found, it will be fixed in the next update.
Thanks
Javid

I am trying lite but I found it difficult to copy my groups in CONTACTS to a group in Mail2Group.Please can you more clearly describe the process so that I can get more use out of my iPad. Once I have mastered that I will buy the full version.

Cheers,
Bob

Hi Bomont,
Currently, you have to create your groups within Mail2Group. groups created outside of the application is not available to Mail2group. However, this would change sometime in the near future.
Meanwhile, once you have synced all your contacts, you can create and edit groups within Mail2Group and is solely available for group emailing only within Mail2Group.
Hope this answers your question. If not please let us know.

Thanks,
Javid

Have a question regarding using Mail2Group together with MobileMe. After creating some groups with Mail2Group, and then syncing the contact list with MobileMe - will the groups previously created be preserved, or will a sync destroy the group setup?

I have made 4 attempts at creating 1 group of contacts - 40 in total. The 1st time, it only saved 3, the 2nd time, 10, the 3rd attempt, 11 were saved. There isn't a 'save' button to tap once an address is added, only a 'done' button to tap. How can I get my 40 contact into 1 group safely and securely without losing them every time?

Hello Linda,
I am sorry to hear that you are having some issues with the application.
You don't have to tap the "Done" button after adding an address to the group. You can keep adding new address by tapping on cell "Add new email from phonebook". Once you have finished adding all the contacts then you need to tap the "Done" button.
Please, let me know if this resolves the issue.

Thanks,
Javid

I have the app on both my iPhone and iPad, can I sync the contacts and lists created in one to the other or do I have to recreate the lists separately in each?

Hi The app worked perfectly for 3 days, now it will not send the email. It says "sent" on the app but it is not going out through gmail. This is on my iPad. On my iPhone, through the same account, it is sending fine. Any ideas??

My Mail2Group continually shows loading contacts and never loads. This started after the 14.01 update on Apple. I use this app for an organization that I am secretary of and it was wonderful. Can you help or enlighten me on this issue. Thank you

Just purchased a 5th gen iPad Mini to replace my wife's gen 2. Mail2Group transferred to the new Mini, and all the group names xferred okay. Similar to the post above mine, the individual contact entries show "loading" but never load. The new Mini is also on iOS 14.

I’m at IOS 14.4 on an iPad. Mail2Group has worked perfectly for me for years to distribute e-mails to my group of friends. Now, jut like the people above, it reuses to load the information.....so it is unusable. It has been 4months with no response on this forum, so I’m going to assume that a newer version of IOS has stopped it working and that no-one is going to fix the problem. Such a shame. Will have to try something else and will have to recreate all of my lengthy distribution lists on a different platform.
